RadhaRaman Folk Festival 2025

Bringing the finest and colourful presentations of Bengali folk music and dance for global audiences.

The International RadhaRaman Folk Festival, an ecstasy of Bengali as well as global folk music and dance returning for the 15th year in Leeds and Bradford.

The festival as a whole features haunting sessions of Folk music from other traditions, fusion of Flamenco with Bengali folk dance and essentially the visceral Bengali folk, Baul and Vaishnav music, dazzling Dhamail dance along with poetry in the wood as well as endless networking fun in the forest, lake, lyrical landscape around the North of England.

Thursday 27 November at 5pm

The session of the festival in Civic Hall features book launch of a short-story book The Tapestry of Truth by a talented fictionist Shantanu Goswami and a poetry book Maidens in Heaven by an acclaimed Columbian poet Johanna Carvajal .

 The session of the festival, in collaboration with Chapeltown Library at the Reginald Centre is bringing poetry, music and dance that will surely warm you up in cold winter evening presented by leading performers of different genres.
The session also celebrates a book-launch for Bangladeshis in Bradford by Dr Shaukat Ahmed MBE.

Saudha International Literature Festival|Love Lust & Longing |UK Parliament

Sponsored by Alex Sobel MP, this session of Saudha International Literature Festival is happening in Committe Room 11 of UK's Parliament House ( The Palace of Westminister) on Thursday 4 December from 17:30 to 19:30.

The session will feature some extremely powerful verses on love, lust and longing by both contemporary and ancient poets, writers and philosophers through some haunting performances and music preentations. The session will also launch an acclamied and widely researched book called Tale of Tawaif editted by one of finest Indian classical vocalists based in the UK Chandra Chakraborty.

The access to the room is through Cromwell Green entrance and the audiences were advised to allow at least 20/30 minutes for security check prior to the event. So best to be there by 5pm for the event starting at 5:30pm.

Saudha Bangla Music Festival | Marginalised Voices | The House of Commons

From Nov 13, 2025 to Nov 13, 2025 in Committee Room Number 5, The Westminster Palace | The House of Commons London SW1A 0AA.

Saudha Bangla Music Festival is returning for the 13th year with presentations of wide genres of Bengali music by the best of UK & abroad.

The festival brings the evolution of exciting genres of Bengali music that originated from 730AD.

Sponsored by Fabian Hamilton MP, the session happening in Committee Room 5 of the Westminster Palace (The House of Commons ) is offering insightful talks on Marginalised voices and genres of Bengali music with brief performance as part of demonstration by some leading interpreters of different genres. This also bring unheard voices of British Bengali performers from LGBT community based in London, predominately from a group called Aponghor.

Counted as 'The largest and top presentations of Bengali music outside Indian subcontinent' - the festival presents diverse genres of Bengali music from ancient Charajapada, Vaishnav, Ramprasadi, Toppa to Ponchokobi and modern experimental music with English translation and relevant commentaries in different venues around London and other cities.

A Saudha Production | Planting Poetry in Parliament

Sponsored by Foysol Choudhury MSP and curated by Chandra Chakraborty and T M Ahmd Kaysher, the session features a hypnotic Saudha production  PLANTING POETRY & MUSIC IN PARLIAMENT, a unique art-initiative on  that combines classical music, poetry-theatre, dance and painting. The production vivifies a fresh philosophical connotations of river in addition to redifine the relation between nature and human as well as climate-awareness.
