Please join us for an exciting #picnic in the park on Sunday 27 July from 2pm onward.
An ecstasy of #music . #dance & #Poetry at the lap of the nature in #VictorialPark featuring Saudha's wonderful line of poets, musicians and dancers.
The session is happening at the beautiful bandstand by the grove road entrance and nurtured by Friends of Victoria Park.
Curated by T M Ahmed Kaysher and a leading classical singer Chandra Chakraborty, the session is featuring performance by one of the finest classical vocalists of her generation Koyel Bhattacharya, an emerging maestro of Indian classical Tabla tradition Kuntal Das, Sufi Amir Muhammed, a talented versatile singer Juber Akhtar poet David Lee Morgan, a leading Bengali fictionist of this time Shahaduz Zaman, poet & translator John Farndon, writer Manzu Islam, painter Tarek Amin, classical dancers - Asmitha Keer, Ishita Sinha Sewli Bhattacharyya, Rammani Mandal poet & journalist Sarwar E Alam, Spoken-word artist Cllr Jasmin Chowdhury, translator and spoken-word artist Mamata Nanda, spoken-word artist Nazia Amin, A British Bulgarian poet Snezhina Gulubova, spoken-word artist Shahab Ahmed, painter Tarek Amin An acclaimed Ukrainian singer, songwriter and Bandura player Eka Bandura, spoken-word artist Zafira Salam, photographer Pablo Khaled cultural activist Ananta Kashem a young elocutionist Saniya Alam and many more.
