Verses and Voices Against War - The House of Commons

Featuring artists' responses against war through talk, poetry-reading and music-presentations at the Committee Room 17 of the House of Commons.

 

Saudha Society of Poetry and Music (www.saudha.org), a leading organisation of global arts and music here in the UK in partnership with a global literary platform La Ninfa Eco and a top South Asian literary platform in the UK The Gronthee is hosting this extra-ordinary event of a wide range of performances to protest  wars, the rise of fascism, violence and brutality through #Arts #Music #Dance #Literature as well as other art forms.
Curated by poet T M Ahmed Kaysher and sponsored by Richard Burgon MP, this event will feature artists' responses to the war happening around the world through performances, insightful and analytic presentations from well-known musicians, poets, writers, filmmakers, theatre-practitioners, academics, painters, dancers, from different cultural traditions.
